Thank you for the help in the Short Sale of our house in Little Elm, TX in May 2008. We had the house on the market for 17 months and used 4 different agents. Our home, in West Mckinney was listed with another agent. We went six months with no offers. Month after month, the agent blamed the poor market and could only suggest lowering the price. The Realtor refused to do anything more than list our property on the internet, despite our pleas for open houses and direct marketing to other Realtors. We even had to ask him to follow up on the showings we were getting.

My wife and I are retired. We have had a busy life and have moved more times than I care to recall. We have sold and purchased many properties. At one time I was a real estate broker and sales agent in another state. In my many years of experience, I have come to the conclusion that it is profitable to use a trained real estate sales agent. My experience has also shown me that there are variations in real estate sales persons. Many are no more than order takers. It is my feelings that Joey Womble is an outstanding real estate sales professional that cares about those he serves. He may be the best real estate agent with which I have ever had the pleasure of working. Why do I say that?
1. He researched the market and found that we had worked with two agents over a year period and still had not sold our property.
2. He sent me a letter introducing himself and the full range of the services he was willing to offer. I was impressed, but was really weary after a year of failing to sell the property.
3. He sent me two more follow up letters. On the third letter I acknowledged him and asked for a meeting to look over the property.
4. Joey was very prompt in meeting us at the property. He gave us a very detailed evaluation of the property with what was keeping it from selling. He not only gave us the negatives, but also the positives, plus the steps that he thought needed to be done to make this a profitable property. He also noted that the property could be sold as is, but that the price would not be satisfactory or wise.
5. He walked with us through the repairs, giving us advice and assistance.
